Summary of Job Duties The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports the 3L project and other technical applications within the department. In this role, DevOps refers to the practice of bridging development and operations — ensuring that infrastructure is automated, scalable, and efficient to support fast, reliable delivery of services and systems. The engineer will also ensure the readiness and stability of remote support systems used to serve customers across regions. As the department expands into AI-based solutions, the DevOps Engineer will help establish the foundational systems required for future integration and scalability. Main Responsibilities - Build and maintain infrastructure environments for the 3L platform and other internal tools, using both on-premise and cloud technologies. - Ensure that remote support systems are securely configured, monitored, and always available for customer support. - Coordinate with field service engineers to ensure remote access kits are active, tested, and ready for deployment. - Handle day-to-day infrastructure operations, including automation of deployments, backups, and monitoring. - Prepare internal platforms to integrate AI and data analytics tools by ensuring infrastructure readiness and performance. - Troubleshoot network, access, or system-related issues affecting remote customer support or platform stability. - Maintain system documentation, diagrams, access protocols, and process manuals. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure performance with business and technical needs. Qualifications (Education/Knowledge/Working Experience) - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field. - At least 5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or system operations. - Proficient in Linux system administration and shell scripting. - Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, and automation tools like Ansible. - Understanding of secure remote access and customer support environments. - Exposure to AI infrastructure design or related support tools is a plus. - Comfortable supporting cross-departmental tools and services. Skills Needed - Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and tool development. - Solid understanding of DevOps concepts including CI/CD, configuration management, and monitoring. - Hands-on with tools like Git, Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Ansible. - Good troubleshooting capabilities across infrastructure and network layers. - Strong documentation and organizational habits. - Clear communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional technical environment.
